The Hush Post: Following a threatening letter from a terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) of carrying out blasts at railway stations and several temples, several cities of Uttar Pradesh (UP) including Mathura and Varanasi have been put on high alert.

In a letter reportedly written by LeT Area Commander Maulana Abu Sheikh, it was threatened to carry out blasts at the railway stations of Saharanpur and Hapur on June 6 and at the Lord Krishna birthplace Mathura and Vishwanath Temple of Varanasi on June 8. After this, the authorities started conducting checkings at Saharanpur railway station to prevent any untoward incident.

Meanwhile, security has also been tightened at Lord Krishna’s birthplace Mathura. The bomb disposal squad has also been pressed in the service as precautionary measures.
