Brothers throw acid on sister, leave her on road to die in Greater Noida

Two brothers from Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh threw acid at their sister’s face and left her to die on the road on Thursday.

According to the reports, the 22-year-old girl was in a relationship with her neighbour and her brothers were against it. On Thursday, the brothers took their sister giving her a pretext of a joyride and threw acid on her face. After that they dumped her somewhere in Greater Noida’s Kot village.

The victim is in critical condition and currently she is admitted at Delhi’s Safdarganj Hospital in Delhi. The girl sustained serious injuries on her face, neck and eyes.

Three of the siblings were staying with their parents in Gulawati village of Bulandshahr. According to the report by The Times of India, the girl narrated whole incident before she was taken to the hospital. However, the motive behind the attack is still unclear to the police.

Also, a team of police visited the girl’s residence but found the doors locked.

A case has been registered under IPC section 307(attempt to murder) and 326(punishment for throwing acid).
