Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress general secretary for Uttar Pradesh (East), helped airlift a two and a half-year-old girl who was diagnosed with tumour to AIIMS Delhi on Friday evening.

Earlier, the girl was admitted to Kamla Nehru Hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

Her condition was extremely serious and the doctors inferred she wouldn’t survive.

However, Congress leader Rajeev Shukla, who was campaigning in Prayagraj, requested Priyanka Gandhi to help get the girl better treatment in Delhi.

Priyanka was quick to act on the request and got the girl airlifted with her family to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi via a private plane.
