The Hush Post: In an unending saga of rapes being reported from different parts of the country every day, another cruel incident has come to light of a 26-year-old woman being raped by two men in a moving car allegedly after throwing out her three-year-old child from the vehicle. The incident happened on Monday evening on the Delhi-Dehradun national highway, police said.
The victim was later left on the highway in Chapar area of Muzzafarnagar district. SP Ombir Singh told a national daily that a case has been registered against the accused and the woman has been sent for medical examination. According to the complaint lodged with the police, the victim was called by one of the accused RK Mehata on the pretext of providing her a job.
She was raped by Mehata and his friend after they gave her some alcoholic drink laced with sedatives. She immediately lodged a complaint with the police after she regained consciousness, Singh said. The child was admitted to the hospital by nearby villagers and he is stated to be out of danger.
