The Hush Post: In a shocking incident, a 35-year-old woman was first gang-raped by five men and then burnt alive in a yagyashala of a temple.
The incident took place in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. The victim’s husband said that she had called up the police minutes before she was burnt but her calls went unanswered. No arrests were made till the latest reports came in.
The incident took place in a village which falls under Rajpura police station early on Saturday. The woman has two children and her husband works as a labourer in Ghaziabad.
The victim was sleeping when the perpetrator entered her house and gang-raped her before burning her alive. The cops have booked the five men for gangrape and murder.
Her husband says, since his phone and his brother’s phone was out of reach, she called up her brother to narrate the woeful tale and asked him to call up the police. But in the meanwhile, the five men again came and took her to the temple and burnt her alive.
The five men have been identified as Aram Singh, Mahaveer, Charan Singh, Gullu and Kumarpal,
According to the Additional Director General of Police, they have got hold of the audio clip of the voice of the victim where she can be heard speaking to her cousin.
She is the most crucial evidence, which can be treated like a dying statement of a victim. In the audio clip she has taken the names of all the five accuseds.
