Actress Sara Ali Khan and mother Amrita Singh are in Dehradun. They are here for a disputed property worth hundreds of crores.
According to reports, Sara and her mom Amrita Singh have approached the Dehradun police over a property dispute. The mother-daughter duo reached Clementown police station on Saturday noon to take their claim on the property.
“Amrita’s maternal uncle Madhusudan Bimbet lived in Dehradun’s disputed property as the suit over the title is pending in court. On Saturday he died of cancer. Amrita came to Doon with Sara Ali, cremated her maternal uncle’s body and then both allegedly entered the bungalow,” a police was quoted as saying in News 18 on the condition of anonymity.
They claimed that a disputed property belonged to them. The property in question is of 16,000 square feet area in the outskirts of Uttarakhand and is worth crores.
On the other hand, Madhusudan’s caretaker Khusiram has also approached the police. He has said that Amrita’s maternal uncle Madhusudan had locked the property so that no one can enter.
“Nevertheless, none came to see Madhusudan when he needed most and after he died suddenly these people have turned up claiming property belongs to them,” the new website quoted Dhirendra Semal, a close friend of Amrita’s maternal uncle.
As per the reports, both the parties, it seems, might approach the court over the property dispute. Meanwhile, both Amrita and Sara have not reacted to this controversy.
