The Hush Post: Irritated by continuous fidgeting by a spectator, Union Minister Babul Supriyo threatened to break his leg and put him on crutches, and that to at an event for the differently-abled at Asansol in Bengal.
Singer-turned politician Babul Supriyo is the Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. He was speaking at a function organised to donate wheelchairs and other equipment for the differently abled.
Pausing in between his speech, he suddenly flared up, “Why are you moving? Please sit down.” A man in the audience had caught Supriyo’s attention which distracted him.

The minister’s speech and action was caught on camera which shows him snubbing the man. “What happened to you? Any problem? I can break one of your legs and can give you a crutch, ” he shouted.
Supriyo even ‘ordered’ his security personnel to break the man’s leg and hand him a crutch if he dared to move again. And then asked the audience to give the man a round of applause.
This is not the first time that the singer-turned-politician has displayed his short temper in public. In March, Supriyo had lashed out at an agitating crowd saying he would rip off their skin. The incident too had happened in Asansol.
