The Hush Post: A customer got so angry after coming to know the price of a Biryani plate in the Parganas district of West Bengal that he shot the restaurateur dead. The eatery owner had demanded Rs 190 for one plate of Biryani and it made one of the customers furious enough to open fire on the former.
Once the restaurateur asked for money, a fight broke out and one of the customers shot him dead on Sunday, a report said on Wednesday.
Identified as Sanjay Mondal, the restaurant owner was declared dead when taken to a hospital, the report said.
The local police officers reportedly said that they had registered a complaint and arrested one of the suspects, and others are missing. “An FIR was lodged and we have arrested the accused Mohammad Firoz,” the police were quoted as saying. The police added that they were looking for the other accused, the report said.
