West Bengal’s chief minister Mamta Banerjee was reportedly seen brewing tea at a tea-stall during her official visit to Digha.

While she was inspecting the area to ensure better facilities to the tourists, she stopped at a tea stall. However, the security officials and other officials with Banerjee didn’t know why she stopped suddenly. She simply went to the stall and asked the owner if she could make tea for the customers. The owner greeted her folding his hands and helped her brew tea.

According to the reports, party leaders Subrata Mukherjee and Suvendu Adhikary were also present at that time. Also, the local people gathered around the tea stall to have a look at the CM’s ‘chai-wala’ avatar.

“Sometimes the little joys in life can make us happy. Making and sharing some nice tea (cha/chai) is one of them. Today, in Duttapur, Digha,” the CM tweeted.

Earlier in the year 2014, she was seen playing badminton in Bolpur during an administrative meeting. Then also, she tweeted the video of herself with a caption, “We love sports. A token game in a village.”
