Woman dies of COVID-19 in Bikaner | 2,500 confirmed cases, 62 deaths in India

A 60-year-old woman died in Bikaner, Rajasthan on Saturday morning. The lady had tested positive for the infection and was undergoing treatment at the time of her death.
While across the country, single-largest spike was reported in Covid-19 cases with as many as 575 people testing positive for the infection. This was stated by the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR). The number of confirmed cases has now surged past 2,500 and includes 62 deaths and 194 recoveries in India.
In comparison, coronavirus has claimed more than 58,000 lives across the globe while infecting over 1 million people.
An official with the Indian Railways said that as many as 70 coaches of trains are being converted into isolation wards for coronavirus patients in the Ahmedabad Railway Division. Equipped with all necessary medical equipment, this is the first such coach readied at the Maninagar railway depot. Since March 15, Delhi has witnessed a significant drop in crime as well.
