WORLD POWERLIFTING CHAMPION SAKSHAM SERIOUSLY INJURED IN A DELHI ROAD ACCIDENT

The Hush Post: Four powerlifting players were killed, while two others serious injured as their car met with an accident in Alipur, Delhi in the wee hours Sunday as a result of heavy smog. Three of the four who have been killed are Harish, Tinku and Suraj, the fourth victim is yet to be identified. Those injured also include world champion Saksham Yadav. Another friend of his Baali has also been admitted to a private hospital in Delhi.

The athletes were returning from a powerlifting meet in Panipat when the accident took place at around 4 am. Eye witnesses say, the driver lost balance of his vehicle while overtaking another vehicle and rammed into a roadside pole and their car immediately overturned and only came to a halt after several overturns.

After the accident, the six athletes were taken to the Raja Harish Chandra hospital by a PCR team where four were declared dead while Yadav and Baali were referred to the Max hospital in Shalimar Bagh. Police have registered a case under section 304-A causing death due to negligence and negligent driving against the driver.
